TREYSTA News: Mandatory Microsoft Security Update

As part of Microsoft’s continuous efforts to enhance security and protect your data, they are introducing a stronger form of multifactor authentication (MFA). This update is crucial in safeguarding your work account.
In compliance with this mandatory change implemented by Microsoft, TREYSTA is here to guide you every step of the way through this important update that is non-negotiable and designed to enhance the security of your account. This change is beyond our control and requires your attention and action.
What is Changing?
Starting on September 15, 2023, Microsoft will be initiating a series of prompts encouraging users who currently authenticate using text messages (SMS) and voice methods to convert to the Microsoft Authenticator app. This change, which will roll out over a period of six weeks, is aimed at bolstering security through a more robust and unified authentication process.
Note: If you currently use the Microsoft Authenticator app, no action is required.
