CENTRALIZED SERVICES TECHNICIAN

The Centralized Services Technician will be responsible for configuring, deploying, automating, monitoring and reporting of various services in support of clients. The candidate will be required to define processes and procedures in support of role. Duties and Accountabilities:

  • Manages configuration, reporting, documentation, and deployment of remote monitoring software.
  • Responsible for reviewing incoming alerts to identify areas of improvement in the configuration of monitors.
  • Utilize monitoring software to create automation policies to aid in the efficiency of software deployment, maintenance, and frequent tasks.
  • Manage automated patch deployment for managed servers and workstations
  • Create and update scheduled reports to include monitoring, patching, inventory and asset tracking.
  • Responsible for the configuration and deployment of A/V and other security solutions.
  • Assist Remote Engineers, Client Technology Managers, and Project Engineers with tasks which can be automated to improve efficiency.
  • Manage integrations of TREYSTA services and tools
  • Setup and Monitor Backup and Disaster Recovery solutions

Experience / Requirements:

  • Two (2) to four (4) years’ experience in a Technology related occupation; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of networking including IP Addressing, LAN and WAN working s
  • Experience working with and supporting Microsoft Windows 7, 8, & 10
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Server Operating Systems (Server 2008, Server 2012)
  • Experience working with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, Windows Backup, and Hyper-V
  • Experience working with and creating scripts to manage and deploy items in a domain environment
  • Knowledge of workstation and server maintenance tasks
  • Experience working with managed anti-virus solutions
  • Application analysis & implementation experience
  • Advanced Troubleshooting Skills
  • Experience with support ticketing systems
  • Familiarity with creating queries and running reports
